Since selling my PS3 and returning a PS4, I thought I would take this opportunity to exhaust the iOS offerings before finally succumbing. Starting as I mean to go on, Monument Valley seemed like an obvious choice. It also happened to be the Free App of the Week, though I happily paid for the Forgotten Shores expansion.
In fact, aside from enjoying the game itself, it's also realigned my attitude towards the cost of apps in general. To think a few pounds had put me off in the past is plain embarrassing. Though in all fairness, this recent revelation extends to exhibitions, films, and gigs too – so maybe there's something in the wallet.
