What is essentially a run of the mill run 'n gun is elevated by unique art direction, strong characters, and refreshing pacing that doesn't dwell on a beginning or end but serves up a meaty middle. Short but satisfying, Kane and Lynch eventually disappear into the distance and allow you to exhale for the first time in five hours.
