My initial reluctancy to engage in the game outside of the main story missions certainly hampered the first half, but the more I explored the more I enjoyed myself - a valuable lesson to learn. Despite underwhelming QTE boss battles, a paint by dubstep soundtrack, and a dislikable lead, it was still a solid experience. Just one that felt like a jock's wet dream.
