Exhibiting something, in any form, gives you perspective of how you really feel about it. Even just posting on a private blog can give you an insight. I need to get more comfortable with sharing my ideas and work. People must think I spend all my time watching TV when really I'm more creative than ever. By posting experiments and mistakes you lose the 'potential' to be perfect, but I'd rather be actually anything than just potentially something.
