Weirdo

This weekend was a weekend. On Friday my dad stopped by the house and I helped him cut back a thorn bush down the side of the house. In the afternoon I had a meeting with the director of Wycombe Museum, which went really well. Charlie drove straight here after work and we headed into London in the evening. The train was really fast, only 22 minutes from High Wycombe to Marylebone. Then we got the Bakerloo line to Embankment and the District line to Bow Road. There we bought beers and met Josh, who was already in a taxi. We hopped in and soon arrived at Charlie Lodder's flat.

I knew more people there than I was expecting, including Benny C and Flick. Eventually people started peeling off or falling asleep. I lay down on a rug and slept through 'til ten, only occasionally awoken by the sound of footsteps peeling off the sticky linoleum floor. We walked back to the station in the sun. Back at Marylebone Josh forgot to pick up his tickets in the machine, so we missed two trains while he got a replacement printed. When we finally got to High Wycombe, I went to Primark to see if they had Kanye West mugs in stock, they didn't.

On Sunday, I went to a dog show in Saunderton with Charlie's family. They brought their puppy Poppy. We bumped into Casey and Laurie too. It was really nice to do something a little different. Charlie dropped me home in the evening and Lewis arrived soon after. We did the usual.
