I had a thought earlier while using predictive text. I realised that to spell 'inspiration' you see the words; 'in', 'hop', 'hops', and 'gossip' flash up. Is it possible for these predicting chains to affect our word associations? It's especially interesting when you consider that we were one of the first generations to use this technology from an early age, and with an influx of QWERTY keypads, perhaps one of the last.
