Today has been one of the nicest in so long. I woke up to a bowl of pancake mix. Then after spectating a few rounds of Trunk Ball*, me and George headed out on the bikes. My first bike ride in years but I'm definitely keen to make them more regular! It sounds cheesy but the feeling of the wind blowing through your hair is just amazing, especially in this weather. I'm not sure what it's like at home but it's ridiculous here. Then, after a big cliff and some troubled river crossing we headed back home in time for the nicest spicy peanut butter soup.
Since then I've played a few rounds of Trunk Ball, visited the river to try skimming and searched for a noble stick with no luck. I had the most amazing one earlier but it was too big to cycle back with. Then when I came back for a drink I thought I might as well check my e-mails and just found out I've been offered a place at Camberwell for 2010! Gonna call my mum now and then I need to film some more for tonight's studio update.
*Trunk Ball is a game involving a football and a tree trunk. The aim of the game is to hit the trunk with the ball, thus scoring a point. The game is won when a player reaches 5 points.
