I haven't updated this in a while and I just feel like just typing for a bit. It's gonna be boring unless you love me. I only have four days of college a week so the weekend starts on a Thursday night but I rarely ever do anything apart from maybe band practice or see Charlie. It's amazing to not have to wake up at 6:15am on Friday though. This Thursday however, I delete all but my top 24 friends on MySpace.
Friday morning, I'm learning to drive and normally have a lesson every Friday morning, I'd yet to drive in proper rain but it's a monsoon this morning. I aquaplaine (sp?) driving down the Marlow bypass, and could barely see at points. Then the car engine started juddering at the Handy Cross roundabout!? "I should get that checked out." Get home and meet Charlie, we head into town and buy her Mum a birthday present. Go to this jewelry store for a silver bracelet, feel like a n00b but we still get offered tea/coffee and chocolate! Walk around other shops a little bit and then through town because I have to catch a train. Stop at WHSmiths for a birthday card and Charlie surprises me with a Toblerone! Say our goodbyes and I walk to the station, meet Callum on the way. Arrive at Risborough and walk to Casey's. Pack the van, drive to Luton. Meet and love Saving Aimee and Furthest Drive Home (NSTB4EVA)! Go to Wetherspoons for food. "Jacket potato with cheese and beans, garlic bread and a tap water please." Get back to the venue, watch four other bands, play ourselves but am dissapointed considering all the people there are all seemingly dying. Pack up. listen to Eminem in the carpark for a while and watch some intense ghost riding. Get home and go online, start making the new Hw MySpace but fall asleep with half my clothes on in my bed on my laptop.
Saturday morning, wake up, shower, brief phonecall with Charlie and get picked up by Callum. Drive to Risborough, unpack the van, band practice, eat lovely soup for lunch. Watch Hollyoaks and pick out all the music the two emos listen to (Enter Shikari, AFI, Finch). Band practice some more. Pack the van, drive to Aldershot in Casey's car with Callum. Listen to Pretty. Odd and Four Year Strong, intense. Arrive at the venue, chill out. Meet and love Canterbury, get some stickers for Hw orders. Get Dominos pizza delivered, eat a medium vegetarian supreme with garlic dip. Nearly die I am so full. Walk it off in the rain with Mike and Tom. Watch and sing along to Canterbury, get really excited. Play. Love it so much we play a NFG cover and Snap Snap. Pack up, talk in the carpark in the rain with FDH. Everyone departs. Listen to The Audition on the way home and talk to Charlie on the phone. Get home and do the exact same thing. Go online and carry on making the new Hw MySpace but fall asleep in half my clothes on, in my bed, on my laptop.
Sunday morning, can't believe I've made the same mistake twice and recall my dream about a wood with a train track film set and some remote controlled cars owned by George that I nearly lose. Talk to Charlie on the phone, tell her to come over on the way back from the hotel. Shower, let my sister in and eat scrambled eggs on toast before my mum goes out. Charlie arrives, talk in the sun outside, say our goodbyes. Cut up the sheets of Canterbury stickers. Laze around, try to do some work, don't want to. Procrastinate, write this blog.
